> Rapeseed oil has half the saturated fats (bad fats) of olive oil.
> It contains 10 times more omega 3 than olive oil.
> It  has a high smoke point so it does not burn as quickly as other oils on the pan.
> As a result, it is ideal for deep frying, shallow frying and stir frying.
> It has a wonderful nutty flavour.
> It is produced in Ireland, creating and  supporting Irish jobs.

What is cold pressed oil?
Cold pressing involves extracting the oil from the rape seed without the use of chemicals
or high heat which can destroy the vitamins and ultimately the oils flavour.
At Glen Field, we gently squeeze the oil from the seed at temperatures of less than 30°C.
Cold pressing is a less efficient method of extraction but in our view it is worth to retain
the quality of the oil.
